A guide to the "digital hub" of the Atlanta University Center - Robert W. Woodruff Library - the Technology Design Studio.

Why use the Library's TDS?

Assistance:

Get help with making your presentation slides, video projects, audio recordings, or graphic designs from Library staff members who specialize in those areas.

Availability:

The Technology Design Studio area is open during the Library's regular business hours. Users don't have to wait for a lab to open.

Location:

The Technology Design Studio is situated on the main floor of the Library in the heart of the building. The area is well-lit, has plentiful mobile furniture and is served by staff who sit at a central desk.

Enrichment:

The equipment and software in the Technology Design Studio exists to give users the oppurtunity to practice using the MAC operating system, audio and visual editing software, and improve thier computing skills

Items for Checkout

TDS has a few items for checkout from the Library's main Circulation Desk. These items can be checked out for 2 hours, but must remain in the library during checkout.

Wacom Bamboo Drawing Tablets allow you to draw digitally on a computer! These work well with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Flip HD Cameras allow you to easily take high-definition video and transfer it to a computer via USB.
