Dedicated Suites For Editing and Practice

Our rooms are available by reservation and require a valid AUC school ID.

Doors are locked and are opened when the user who has made the reservation reports for their scheduled time.

You will need library remote access account credentials to access (log-on) to computers in these rooms.

  • 2 Audio/Visual suites – iMAC computers with Final Cut Pro and Logic, microphone, soundboard (4 person capacity)
  • 2 Presentation Capture suites – Windows PC, Camtasia video/audio capture software, large plasma screen televisions, microphone, smart board room table (6 person capacity)

Technology Design Studio Room Policy

 
You will need to show your current AUC ID to gain access to the studio reserved. Studios are designed to accommodate individuals who have specific presentation and/or audio video editing needs. Groups who need study space may reserve one of the library’s group study rooms. The Library reserves the right to modify or cancel reservations as circumstances dictate.

The Robert W. Woodruff Library's Technology Design studios are designed to accommodate individuals who have specific video presentation and/or audio video editing needs. Users of Technology Design Studio spaces agree to adhere to all the following library policies and procedures:

~Food and beverages are NOT permitted in the studios.

~Suites are designated for video presentation and/or audio video editing and should NOT be used as group study rooms.

~The noise level within suites should remain conducive to a working environment as determined by RWWL staff. The rooms are NOT soundproof.

~Disruptive behavior and vandalism are not tolerated.

~Room occupancy should not exceed the set capacity.

~Patrons can have only one reservation at a time for TDS rooms.

~TDS rooms close 30 min before the library closes. (11:30 pm during extended hours)

Any violation of the aforementioned policies is reason for immediate dismissal from the Technology Design Studio and/or Robert W. Woodruff Library premises.

Users may incur replacement costs if Robert W. Woodruff employees, and/or affiliate companies', deem equipment is damaged in a manner not consistent with normal wear and tear. Robert W. Woodruff Library, including employees and affiliate companies, are not liable for any damages to personal equipment used when utilizing Technology Design Studio suites or iMac work stations. Damages include, but are not limited to, viruses, computer crashes, hardware damage; damage to computer keyboards, microphones, cables, instruments, or external storage devices.

Suite Reservations

  • You can reserve a room by visiting any service desk in the Library or online!
  • Room reservations are available daily during regular Library operating hours.
  • Each user may have one standing reservation at a time, for a maximum of three hours.
  • Users are expected to adhere to all Library policies.
  • The Library reserves to the right to modify or cancel reservations on a case-by-case basis.
