About the Exhibit
The images featured in “MJ: In Blue Terms, Images and Perceptions” are critical pieces in a larger body of work that marks the beginning of a journey – an open conversation of sorts – with the man who was one of the most incredible human beings encountered on this side of the veil. Each photograph and mixed media work in this original series is accompanied by a poem carefully versed with the intent of providing another layer to the dialogue – the image/text format currently being prepared for publication. All things considered, particularly his impact on people and cultures around the world and his complexities, which were many, the artist Dr. Amalia Amaki celebrates the truth of his life as one anchored in a simple yet powerful philosophy – L.O.V.E.
