During the Library's closure in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no on-site and no remote access to the Bloomberg Terminals. In case you need to obtain some data that would generally be found in the Terminal, here is a list of alternative resources.
The above resources may also be found in our databases/e-resources page, as well as in pertinent Business/Finance/Economics research guides available in our research guides menu or in the Business Librarian, Bryan Briones’s research guides page.
Welcome to the Bloomberg Terminal Research Guide!
Bloomberg integrates data, news, analytics, multimedia reports, e-mail and trading capabilities into a single platform. Market professionals around the world depend on BLOOMBERG© as their source for real-time market data and news for all market sectors. Bloomberg seamlessly integrates data, news, analytics, multimedia reports, e-mail and trading capabilities into a single platform.
Bloomberg Terminals are currently located in the FINANCIAL APPLICATIONS LEARNING LAB (room 207) and can only be used in the library for non-commercial research.
Online tutorials in Bloomberg use streaming video and audio. Library does not loan out or issue earphones, earbuds, or headphones. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SET OF THESE DEVICES.
AUC students in the Business/Finance/Economics programs may request help with Bloomberg. Faculty may also coordinate with the Bloomberg Librarian to set up class sessions in the Bloomberg Lab. But before using Bloomberg Lab, make sure to download, read, and understand the policies and procedures.
