Our Commitment

The Atlanta University Center (AUC) Robert W. Woodruff Library is committed to providing exceptional virtual support to all faculty and students enrolled at AUC institutions during the current semester. Our goal is to provide you with access to the most relevant current and retrospective information in the current online environment.

Virtual support for your learning and research

A subject librarian has been assigned to provide virtual instructional and information support services for each degree program offered by our member institutions. Subject librarians and archivists are available to support your study and research by providing:

  • Designated virtual office hours (make an appointment to get help from your subject librarian or archivist)
  • Request to get help with citation styles from your subject librarian
  • Research Guides are electronic pathfinders to assist library users in locating appropriate information resources. A research guide has been developed for each degree program offered by AUC member institutions
  • Request virtual reference or research support for individuals or small group clusters using the following online platforms:

Regular Hours of Virtual Information Services Delivery

  • Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Sunday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Virtual Access to Print Library Materials

A Library barcode is required to check out materials from the Library’s collection. Please call the Library’s Circulation Services Desk at (404) 978-2097 to obtain a Library barcode. Your campus ID credentials are required for registration.

Requests may be made to have a limited number of copies of Library materials and some primary resources emailed to your campus email address by Circulation Services staff for the remainder of the spring semester. Electronic course reserve materials may be accessed using login credentials for your home institution.
