A Scientific Writing module is designed to increase undergraduate researchers’ knowledge about the key concepts that underpin scholarly communications in STEM-related fields.

SECTIONS OF A SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE

Most journal-style scientific papers are subdivided into the following sections: 

  • Title
  • Authors and Affiliation
  • Abstract
  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Acknowledgments
  • Literature Cited
