Q 1. Does the library have copier and scanning services

Printers are available near the computers and can but utilized using a print card which can be purchased at print kiosks. The slide show on the home page of this libguide will show you how to use all the printing services.

Q 2. How do I save my work at the Woodruff Library?

The only way to save your work on a Woodruff Library computer is to use a Flash drive. Bring one with you when you come to the library.

Q 3. How can I access the electronic resources from home?
Electronic magazines, newspapers, reference resources, and eBooks can be accessed remotely - free of charge - to all AUC member Institutions. Please enter your remote access ID and password, which is your student email address (username) and the password you use to get into your student email account Password). You can log in to the Library's electronic resources from anywhere there is an Internet connection.

 Q 4. How do I borrow books or get copies of articles from other libraries?
Use the Interlibrary Loan, a service that enables AUC faculty, students and staff to locate and borrow materials from other libraries worldwide that are not available at the R. W. Woodruff Library

 Q 5. How do I cite my sources and prepare a bibliography?
Cite your sources with accuracy using the the appropriate citation manual style. You can go to the
Citation Style Guides LibGuide for additional help. The Library also has manuals for many of the citation styles. To the left you'll see some of them listed along with their location in the library.

Q 6. How do I find a video or DVD in this Library?
Please search  the catalog for DVDs, CDs, Cassettes owned by the Woodruff Library. Use the search box  to begin your search typing the title of the item  you are looking for.  Also remember type in the keyword video. Example: for a video entitled:
Faat Kine, you can find it by typing faat kine and video in the search box

Q 7. How can I reserve a group study room?
The Library currently has some rooms available to be reserved for group study. Faculty and students are strongly encouraged to reserve rooms at least one day in advance of the date needed. Reservations are not accepted over the phone. Availability of rooms is also subject to rennovation changes.

 Q 8. When will citation workshops take place?
The Woodruff Library offers workshops on the most commonly used citation formats: APA, MLA & TURABIAN. The workshops provide information on how to avoid plagiarism, cite sources in the apporpriate format and how to create rerference pages.TO SIGN UP: Visit the Library’s Information Services Desk or Email: askref@auctr.edu
