The library has a collection of elementary and middle textbooks  and teaching Aids for use by education students.

Professional Organizations and Societies

  • United States Department of Education
    ED's mission is to promote student achievement and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access. ED's 4,500 employees and $71.5 billion budget are dedicated to establishing policies on federal financial aid for education, and distributing as well as monitoring those funds, collecting data on America's schools and disseminating research, focusing national attention on key educational issues, prohibiting discrimination and ensuring equal access to education.
  • Georgia Association for Instructional Technology, Inc. (GAIT)
    Is open to all who are interested in bettering education through the use of media and technology. The membership is diversified and includes public school educators, corporate trainers, vocational instructors, college media directors, university professors, library/media specialists, commercial vendors and many, many more. 
  • GAIT is the Georgia state affiliate of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT).
    Provides international leadership by promoting scholarship and best practices in the creation, use, and management of technologies for effective teaching and learning in a wide range of settings.
  • Georgia Library Media Association (GLMA)
    GLMA is the largest professional organization serving school library media professionals in Georgia. Its members are dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of school library media specialists and to quality education in Georgia's schools.
  • International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)
    (ISTE) is the trusted source in education technology for professional development, knowledge generation, and advocacy. Provides leadership and service to improve teaching and learning in K-12 and teacher education through the effective use of technology.  ISTE represents more than 85,000 leaders and potential leaders worldwide.
  • American Federation of Teachers
    Its mission is to improve the lives of its members and their families, to give voice to their legitimate professional, economic and social aspirations, to bring together all members to assist and support one another and to promote democracy, human rights and freedom in our union, in our nation and throughout the world.
  • International Literacy Association 
    Is dedicated to promoting high levels of literacy for all by improving the quality of reading instruction, disseminating research and information about reading, and encouraging the lifetime reading habit. Members include classroom teachers, reading specialists, consultants, administrators, supervisors, university faculty, researchers, psychologists, librarians, media specialists and parents.
  • American Association of School Administrators (AASA) 
    Web site offers information on awards and scholarships, conferences and an online career center
