National Crime Victimization Survey - Bureau of Justice Statistics
National Criminal Justice Reference Center (NCJRS) NCJRS is a federally funded resource offering justice and substance abuse information to support research, policy, and program development worldwide.
National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) The NIBRS is an incident-based reporting system in which agencies collect data on each single crime occurrence. NIBRS data come from local, state, and federal automated records’ systems. An agency can build a system to suit its own needs, including any collection/storage of information required for administration and operations, as well as to report data required by the NIBRS to the UCR Program.
U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) This site has government reports on current criminal justice issues, such as gang violence, the prison system and terrorism. Also a good site for statistics on hate crimes and prisons.

National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) NCVS is the nation's primary source of information on criminal victimization. Each year, data are obtained from a nationally representative sample of about 90,000 households, comprising nearly 160,000 persons, on the frequency, characteristics, and consequences of criminal victimization in the United States.
