Faculty Open Access Partnerships

 

  • Morehouse College - Dr.  Adria Welcher, Sociology - Adopted OA materials instead of asking students to purchase a textbook.
  • Morehouse College - Dr. Nathan Nobis – Is a creator of Open Educational Resources - He has made his resources available through the Woodruff Library Institutional Repository.
  • Interdenominational Theological Center - Dr. William Coleman - Created a textbook for his Traditional African Religions course using multiple platforms including Libguides and Pressbooks. His text on Ifa has garnered over 300,000 views in just over a year and a half.
  • Spelman College- Dr. Luis Gonzalez-Barrios - Participated in the TOME (Toward an Open Monograph Ecosystem) initiative to make his manuscript simultaneously available as both an Open Access online and print resource.
