Access to Collections

Retrieving Materials From the Stacks
Library staff will retrieve requested items from the stacks for  patrons who require assistance. Individuals with disabilities who need assistance obtaining materials from the stacks may contact the library staff at the Circulation Desks. The Circulation Desk  is located on the Main Level of the library.

Every effort will be made to accommodate such requests as quickly as possible; however, staffing levels and other user requests may create minimal delays.

Photocopying Materials
Staff at the Circulation Desks will help individuals with disabilities photocopy library materials. Relevant copyright restrictions and normal photocopy charges are observed.

Group Study Rooms
Rooms intended for group study are located on the Main and Upper  Level floors of Library and are available to all AUC students, faculty and staff. Please see our website for information on reserving a study room.  Study rooms can be reserved by visiting the information desk, Library Room Reservation System or by scanning a QR code at any of the available rooms.  Assistance is available at the Information Desk on the Main Level floor.

Assistive Technology Resources

  • A desktop computer equipped with  assistive technology software is located at in the Education Resource Center. You may check out the Kurzwell  at the Circulation desk
  • Blueray media equipment is available in the ERC area for all library users.
  • The assistive technology available to students with disabilities at AUC Campuses  are listed within the individual campus  Office of Disability Resources website. Please contact each campus directly for more information.
