Blue Chip Economic Indicators, 1/2006-8/2013


Fed in Print is central catalog of publications of the US Federal Reserve System. Covers core economic reviews, as well as specilized regional and international publications, working papers, and annual report essays.

FRASER is a digital library of U.S. economic, financial, and banking history—particularly the history of the Federal Reserve System.

Economic Report of the President: Annual report containing texts of the President's economic report, summarizing the Administration's economic policy, and of the Council of Economic Advisers report, reviewing in detail the progress of the economy and the Administration's proposals and programs.

The United States Department of Commerce (DOC) gathers economic and demographic data for business and government decision-making, issues patents and trademarks, and helps to set industrial standards.

Central Intelligence Agency's World Factbook provides information on the history, people, government, economy, geography, communications, transportation, military, and transnational issues for 267 world entities.

Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO) is a comprehensive source for theory and research in international affairs

Global Issues in Context supports global awareness and provides a global perspective while tying together authoritative content, empowering learners to critically analyze and understand the most important issues of the modern world.

Asian & European Business Collection database provides information pertinent to the study of business and finance topics across Asia and Europe. Find information on companies, economies, markets, international trade, and overall business conditions and practices throughout these regions.

International Monetary Fund

Seal of the International Monetary FundThe International Monetary Fund publishes a range of time series data on IMF lending, exchange rates and other economic and financial indicators. Manuals, guides, and other material on statistical practices at the IMF, in member countries, and of the statistical community at large are also available.

The Essential Reading Guides are curated lists of publications in highlighted subject areas. Links to full text publications, additional IMF resources and pre-defined searches help researchers get a quick start to projects in these areas. Each guide is updated at least twice per year.

IMF eLibrary provides access to publications as well as gateways to other IMF databases and sites. The startup guide gives an overview of the platform and how to use the features and content on the IMF eLibrary.

The Daily Treasury Statements summarize the financial activities of the Federal Government and off-budget Federal entities in accordance with the budget of the U. S. Government.

EH.net is the home of Economic History Services on the web. Includes a wide array of historical time series data available free. Also houses the Economic History fileserver, and contains resources including bibliographies, course syllabi, directories and book reviews.

Peterson Institute for International Economics: From a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan research institution devoted to the study of international economic policy. This web site contains short abstracts and press releases of books published by the Institute. Speeches, testimonies and essays by the staff at the Institute on a variety of international economics issues are also available as is a collection of working papers published since 1994.
