The Archives Research Center utilizes the curation of exhibits to highlight materials among the ARC’s holding and to support the vision and mission of the archive—“to be a cultural asset and active participant in teaching and scholarship, providing collaborative leadership in the preservation, access, and collection development of archival resources; as well to be a premier destination archives, connecting local community and the world to the rich historical and cultural resources at the Atlanta University Center. One of the ways in which we connect these cultural resources is through exhibitions. These exhibits can be both digital, physical or a combination of the two and the primary audience of our exhibits are our AUC stakeholders as well as community partners.
