Research Data Management: Repositories by Discipline/Subject Area

Research guide to serve as a portal to data repositories, agency and funder requirements, tutorials, and DMPTool.

WHY USE REPOSITORIES?

Repositories help you:

  • Manage your data
  • Cite your data by supplying a persistent identifier
  • Facilitate discovery of your data
  • Preserve your data for the long-run
  • Ensure your data remains useful over time

Evaluate Repositories for:

  • Sustainability. What is their business model? Are they a new business?
  • Preservation plan. What is their repository's preservation plan/policy?
  • Audience. Who is the intended audience for the repository?

Below you will find a large selection of repositories classified by discipline. Hover over each one to read a tooltip description.

Know, too, that the AUC Woodruff Library could house and curate your research data in the Repository of AUC Digital Collections, Archives, and Research (RADAR). Read about our RDM Policies & Procedures, or email the Digital Services Department at DSD@auctr.edu for assistance,
